About Fable Friends

Long before screens, stories were how grown-ups quietly handed children the important things: kindness, patience, honesty, wrapped in a tale about a tortoise, a crow, or a stubborn little fox. Fable Friends is our small attempt to keep that tradition alive.

Every fable here is illustrated by hand and narrated gently, with the words highlighted as they're spoken, so a child can follow along and begin to notice how sounds turn into letters, and letters into meaning. There's no rush, no scoring, and nothing to win, just a story, told with care.

We made Fable Friends because we wanted a kind of screen time we didn't have to feel conflicted about, something closer to a bedtime story than an app. No accounts, no ads, no data quietly collected in the background. Just a cozy corner where a child can tap on an animal and be told a story that's been loved for hundreds of years.
